About Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is imparting a state-of the- art and quality education, training and research in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas. The department offers Master’s program in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The infrastructure and well-equipped labs are regularly upgraded beyond the curriculum to carry out innovative projects to challenge the fast-changing needs of the society besides undertaking R&D activities in various fields. We also provide training and placement program for students to meet the requirement and challenges of industry.

Laboratories

1. DCLD LAB:

The Digital Circuits and Logic Design (DCLD) Lab plays a crucial role in our department and provides hands-on experience with designing and implementing digital circuits. It enhances their understanding of fundamental concepts such as logic gates, flip-flops, counters, and multiplexers. This practical experience is essential for developing problem-solving skills and preparing students for advanced studies and careers in electronics and computer engineering.

2. R&D LAB:

The Research and Development (R&D) Lab is vital for research scholars, offering a dynamic environment for advanced study and innovation. It facilitates the exploration of cutting-edge technologies and the development of novel solutions to complex problems. The lab supports interdisciplinary collaboration, enabling scholars to engage in meaningful research projects and contribute to academic and industrial advancements.

3. DSP LAB:

The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Lab provides hands-on experience to students with signal analysis, filtering, and manipulation techniques. It enhances their understanding of core concepts such as Fourier transforms, digital filters, and signal compression. This practical exposure is crucial for developing skills in designing and implementing DSP systems, preparing students for careers in telecommunications, audio and video processing, and other signal-intensive industries.

A workshop titled "Celebrating One Year of NEP 2020: Research, Innovation, and Ranking" was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020.
